We screen interesting startups and perform a due diligence on the selected ones which are then presented to investors. In addition, IOO sees the startups through their growth phases ensuring ongoing guidance and support and provides investors with monthly performance tracking summary reports. We have a circle of mentors and advisors globally with expertise in diverse industries that are supporting the startups and the due diligence.
Is InvOrOut basically crowdfunding?
No. While InvOrOut encompasses all the positive attributes of crowdfunding, the main difference is that our expert team evaluates opportunities before offering them to the investment community promoting only the most attractive ones.
What is InvOrOut differentiation?
Our team screens opportunities and does the full Due Diligence just like any other VC would do. IOO then suggests investments that IOO invests in as well and asks the IOO community to join.
What criteria do you use to evaluate opportunities?
We have developed very strict due diligence process with standardizes material coming from years of M&A, VC and Angel investing experience.
How do you source the startups?
Startups are sourced through multiple ways. We have partnered with the leading accelerators and incubators across the global. Secondly, We have our Ambassadors sourcing startups independently from across the global. And we have several partnerships with Venture Capital and Investment firms to co-invest in their deals.
Are you only looking at IT and high-tech startups?
Absolutely not. We are open to any company that can change the world, online or offline.
Are you screening opportunities only in the UAE?
We are a global player looking for opportunities globally.

I have a great idea; how can I apply for funding?We only screen actual businesses, not ideas. You have to have a minimum viable product (MVP) and at least one paying customer before applying. We are flexible with the sector and consider fresh ideas with great potential for growth.

INVESTORS
What is the minimum ticket to invest?
The minimum ticket is 5,000 USD. For any investor willing to invest more than 100K USD, InvOrOut has a tailor made solution adapted to your needs. We will discuss first in order to understand your needs and what you are looking for such as industry and geography and we will have a specialized team working for your preferences.
Why do I need to put the money in the IOO bank account till I invest?
IOO will set up an SPV to invest in the new entity as soon as the InvOrOut request is confirmed. The money will be immediately transferred to the SPV and subsequently to the company getting the funding. We pride ourselves in being able to close deals in the shortest time possible. One of the key delaying factors in early stage investments is capital deployment post commitment of funds.
Can I withdraw the money?
You can withdraw the money at any point in time prior to your commitment for an investment.
Can I exit an investment early?
The commitment is in favor of the company. The only way to exit, as with any direct company investment, is to find another buyer for your stake. We may, under certain circumstances, facilitate by circulating the interest to sell.
I want to meet the team of the company I am investing in.
IOO will ask the team for the interest in doing this; however, this will only happen after closing a transaction, not during the InvOrOut period. The IOO model is based on speed of action, hence any potential delays and diversions from the core business will harm the impact and time to market.
How many investments can I make?
As many as you want each with a minimum ticket of 5K USD.
What is the typical investor profile?
Any individual who would like to diversify their investment portfolio and does not have the required time or expertise to find the right opportunity.
What is the typical time to exit?
In the startup world, this is varying from business to business and is difficult to estimate. We advise our clients that investing in startups is a long term and high risk investment.
Can I buy into an existing investment post the InvOrOut trigger?
The only way would be through purchasing a stake from an existing investor. We may, under certain circumstances, facilitate by circulating the interest to buy.
